NavWorld and Tracks4Africa, better known as T4A, is proud to announce yet another milestone for both the companies. An agreement has been signed between Tracks4Africa and NavWorld to offer T4A map upgrade services at all the NavWorld branches. This announcement follows the recent unveiling of the latest map set from Tracks4Africa.

T4A has been part of the GPS navigation scene in South Africa since the early days. It has since become the de facto standard in mapping for the outdoor and adventure community in South Africa as well as the international traveller touring Africa.

The range of products consists of electronic and paper maps for Africa as well as mobile apps for both Android and iOS devices. T4A is a community product where hundreds of thousands of customer edits get included into their products every year. The most significant product for NavWorld and its customers are the electronic GPS map that is only compatible with Garmin devices.

T4A offers their GPS map as an electronic download from their website and on an SD card which most customers prefer. The T4A map update policy allows customers with a T4A SD card the opportunity to update to a later version of the map free of charge or at a reduced price, depending on when the map was purchased. Up until now this could only be done through the T4A call centre or their offices in Stellenbosch.

“Navworld has been a breath of fresh air in the lives of Garmin GPS users during the last three years. Both Tracks4Africa and Navworld pride themselves on quality service to their customers and this lead us to expand our product upgrade service to all Navworld service centres,” says Johann Groenewald from Tracks4Africa. “We believe that this move will go a long way to service our customers even better.”

NavWorld as the authorised service provider for Garmin in South Africa, and with retail outlets and service centres in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban, has been involved with the T4A team since inception in 2013. The T4A products sit at the heart of adventure travelling in South Africa and is the number one accessory requested by Garmin customers.

Garmin customers can now get their T4A updates at all four NavWorld branches with the convenience of skilled technical assistants at their service.
