Navworld is a business in the out and indoor adventure/fitness as well as navigation industry that markets Garmin, Suunto, Polar, RAM Mounts, Holdfast, DJI, Airsoft-HQ, Cardo, PolarPro, Tracks4Africa, VOX and other devices for the outdoor and fitness enthusiast.
Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 working days and delivery confirmed by way of email.
Export restriction
The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Navworld is subject to availability.
If a customer is not satisfied with a purchase, it can be returned within 7 days of the delivery for a full refund, less the shipping costs and a restocking fee.
Refunds will only be issued if products are returned unopened and with all packaging, manuals, accessories and other material, of any nature, that were part of the original purchase. Sealed products attract a 15% handling fee – should an opened product be returned, or a product be returned without any of these items, a 25% handling fee will be charged. Additionally, goods need to be returned in a resalable condition.
Mapping and consumables can only be returned if they have not been opened.
All products being returned to Navworld must be repackaged into their original packaging. Should a product be damaged while being shipped to our offices Navworld will not be liable for damages; it is recommended that you insure your products when shipping them back to us, and ensure that they are properly packaged.
Navworld is only responsible for first line service for all Garmin product. Please note that ALL warranty service and support queries are required to be assessed and approved by Garmin Southern Africa ("GSA"). Furthermore, any product which requires either Warranty or Repair assessment, must be sent directly to GSA.
Returns / Warranty Policy (Faulty products)
All products are covered by the manufacturers’ original warranty, Garmin Automotive devices carry a 2 year warranty from date of first Satellite acquisition. Exceptions to these are the following:
- Zumo Range (Two Year Warranty)
- Sports and Fitness Range (One Year Warranty)
- Marine and Outdoor Range (One Year Warranty)
- Accessories (No warranty)
Should you have a product that has failed during the warranty period, please contact us to begin the RMA process.
Data recovery is not covered by the warranty – during certain procedures electronic information may be lost, please ensure that you have backed-up your information.
The warranty procedure does not cover any physical damage to the unit.
Products will be credited against their current or most recent retail price. Should a product be end of line, the credit amount will be sufficient to purchase a product of equivalent or better specifications.
Customer Privacy policy
Navworld shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Mastercard, Visa, Snapscan and EFT into the Navworld bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Navworld via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Navworld separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
Navworld takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Navworld chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, PO BOX 23115, RA.
Variation
Navworld may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
